What is commitment to you?

While for me commitment can be a friend or foe, as committing into something you like its really enjoyable, you enjoy the process thoroughly and the thought of giving up never crossed your mind. Take the example of a sports you are interested in, training so hard, putting in all your time and effort into it hoping that you could excel in it, and no matter how tough it could be you wouldnt give up. In situation like this commitment exist without you knowing because you enjoy the process of it.

On the other hand committing into something you dread, the thought of giving up is always there and it all boils down to determination to overcome it. Committing into something you hate could be a burden to you as well, being refrain from all the freedom you have to commit into something you had no interest in. People would tend to give up because they dont want to lose their freedom or have other priorities in life which is more important. Afterall commitment in this situation would really depend on how strong your self-discipline is.

Thats my definition of commitment, so whats yours? Thats all for my crappology.
